In Memory of
Rolando Vicente Tudela
-

Rolando Vicente “Chucho” Tudela was a loving father, husband and brother. He is survived by his wife Sara Tudela, daughter Christina Tudela, and siblings Electo, Luis, and Maria Tudela.

Rolando was born and raised in Guantanamo, Cuba, where he became a professor of Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. At the young age of 21, he swam across Guantanamo Bay in search of freedom and a way to provide for the loved ones he left behind.

Rolando lived all across the United States in places like California, Massachusetts and New Jersey. He eventually settled in Texas with a vision of family in mind. Rolando put his family members first in everything he did. He worked as a truck driver for 32 years before he happily retired. He never hesitated to sacrifice himself and his time for the sake of his family.

Rolando will be remembered for his sharp wit and universal sense of humor. Chucho never failed to put a smile on the faces of his friends and family, and his trademark look of a suit and tie with sunglasses will not soon be forgotten.

Rest in Peace, “Roly”
