Vitalia Vazquez, born in Cuba on March 18, 1923, passed away at peace with our Lord on August 15, 2008. In 1941, she married Dr. Silverio M. Vazquez, with whom she shared a long and wonderful life for 62 years. The Vazquez family emigrated from Cuba to the United States in 1962, eventually settling in Houston, Texas.
She will be greatly missed by her family: daughter Gladys Alvarado; grandsons Eduardo and Alfredo Alvarado and wife Sina Maria; great-granddaughter Angela Maria Alvarado, all of Houston, Texas; sisters Yolanda Breso of New Jersey and Maritza Breso of Florida; and brother Carlos M. Breso of Florida. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews: Gloria M. Restoy, Carlos, Eduardo and Juan Carlos Breso, Kenneth and Lisa McGreevey, Roberto and Elizabeth Parsons, and Bryan Parsons. She will be remembered for her love for her family and her joy for life.

Vazquez, with whom she shared a long and wonderful life for 62 years. The Vazquez family emigrated from Cuba to the United States in 1962, eventually settling in Houston, Texas.
Vitalia was preceded in death by her son, Mike Vazquez, in 1994, and her husband Silverio in 2004, both of whom she loved dearly.
She will be greatly missed by her family: daughter Gladys Alvarado; grandsons Eduardo and Alfredo Alvarado and wife Sina Maria; great-granddaughter Angela Maria Alvarado, all of Houston, Texas; sisters Yolanda Breso of New Jersey and Maritza Breso of Florida; and brother Carlos M.
