In Memory of
Felipe Jaimes Serrano
-

Felipe Jaimes Serrano of Houston, Texas passed away at the age of 61 on August 22, 2024, in Sugar Land, Texas after a courageous fight against cancer. He was born on February 5, 1963, in Mexico to Bonifacio Jaimes and Julia Serrano. He attended up to elementary school, and he adored seeing his family happy. He was always on the move, working hard to provide for his family. He didn’t slow down when he was off work either, always finding something to do or fix at home.

He loved his wife Maria Dolores Millan. They met in Houston and were married in Mexico on December 25th. They lived in Houston and Atlanta, but Houston was home.

He started working in Flooring installation when he was 14 years old and never stopped. Felipe was an incredible and loving father. His children are all proud to call him their father.

Felipe is survived by his wife Maria Dolores Millan, his six children Carmen, Felipe Jr, Sergio, Eduardo, Daniel and Marcos, and his granddaughter Sofia.

He is preceded by both his parents, Bonifacio Jaimes and Julia Serrano.

Services will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024, at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Community with the Visitation at 10am, Rosary at 10:30am, and the Funeral Mass at 11am, all officiated by Fr. Paul Chovanec.  Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas at 1pm.
