John Walter Hanson, 79, passed away on June 21, 2023 in Houston, Texas. He was born on July 21, 1943 in Port Arthur, Texas to Walter John Hanson and Lessie Marie (Johnson) Hanson.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 57 years, Beverly Janice (English) Hanson; his daughters, Danica Lauren Hanson and Monique Annette Pitre; grandchildren, Jasmine Simone Barrett and Ashley Nicole Barrett; and one great-grandchild, Irie-Zahire Vos Barrett.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
As a veteran of the United States Air Force, he will be interred at Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. Houston, TX 77038) on Monday, July 3, 2023 at 9:30 AM.
