Sheryl Lassus was born on March 21st, 1970 in Houston, Texas where she lived throughout most of her life. She married Rusty on March 10, 2007 and after one brief year she moved on to a better place after a hard battle with cancer on March 7, 2008. She will be laid to rest on Wednesday, March 12th, 2008 in Yoakum, Texas.

Sheryl is survived by her husband Rusty S. Lassus; her mother Shirley F. Anzaldua; her stepdad Matt Anzaldua; her father: Richard F. C. Klug; father and mother-in-law Lee and Lee Lassus; brother Richard K. Klug; sister and husband Michele and David McGehee; brother-in-law and wife Rand and Tracye Lassus; sister-in-law and husband Laura and Randy Swan; stepsisters Sandra and Liza Anzaldua; stepbrother Bo Anzaldua; nephews Zachary and Dylan McGehee, Joshua Klug and Christian Swan; nieces Lauren Lassus, Amber Klug, Alyssa and Kaitlin Swan.
