Heaven is a little brighter today, our beloved Mother and Nana peacefully went home to be with our Heavenly Father and eternally joined with her husband, Gunter Berghoff on Friday evening, August 24, 2007.
She was born on June 2, 1932 in Bridgeport, Pennsylvania. She was a wonderful Mother and Nana always giving to all in need. She will be missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing and loving her.
Rosalie is survived by two daughters and a son:
Rosanne & husband Robert Brittain, Patricia Stuart, and Albert Berghoff
Grandchildren:
Michael & wife Shadow Brittain, Christopher, Adrianna Brittain, Trisha & husband Jason Bates, Matthew, Crystal, Rachel Manning, Misty Witt, Stacey, Kyle, and Tracie Berghoff, Daniel Rhatigan
Great Grandchildren:
Aaron and Camryn Brittain, Ryan and Alexis Bates, Cody Jones and Joshua Christison,
And her Beloved Cat Sammy who was always by her side.

Nana is home now, She’s safe & Sound,
Eternal Peace she has finally found.

Forever we’ll miss her because to all she was dear,
Not a day will go by that we won’t wish she was here.

But No more pain will she feel,
And With no more worries will she deal.

Eternally Joined with her husband at last,
The Lord is holding their hands now, To Paradise she has passed.

Cry not a tear of sadness and pain,
Always Remembering that Our loss is THEIR GAIN.

My mother loved nature. Was a great cook and showed me many things in the kitchen. Tradition was alive in our home. Together mom and dad made the holidays special with many memories that I have cherished and passed on to my children from the Thanksgiving dinner, Bow knot cookies that our whole family pitched in to make, to the wonder of Christmas. Mom loved dolphins, squirrels, birds in the backyard, swans and especially her grandchildren! She loved to dance, sports and games. I hope that I can make that kind of difference to my family as she did me and mine! She will be greatly missed! Love, Rosanne (her oldest daughter)
