Theresa Hedwig Boyd
Theresa Hedwig Boyd, 93, died peacefully July 10, 2011, at Houston Hospice. She was born October 15, 1917, in New Waverly, Texas, one of eleven children of John and Honorata Zabava. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband offorty-seven years Joseph Lyndon Boyd.
Theresa is survived by sons Joseph Boyd II and wife Virginia, John Boyd, and William Boyd and wife Susan; daughter Rosaleen Griffiths; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Beresford Funeral Home, 13501 Alief-Clodine Rd, Houston, TX. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, New Waverly, TX.
