Carlos Augusto Vargas Pinzon, 80, passed away on August 16, 2025 in Katy, Texas.  He was born in Colombia on October 24, 1944 to Carlos Vargas and Carmen Pinzon.

He was a resident of Katy, Texas for 24 years.

He is survived by his wife, Aurora Baquero; 2 daughters: Johana Quijano & husband Andres Quijano, and their 2 daughters Nicole & Valerie, and Ingrid Michalski & husband Patrick Michalski, and their 2 sons Sean & Kevin.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 11 AM at The Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Community (1530 Norwalk Dr, Katy, TX 77450).

How very sad to know such a kind & caring gentleman has left this earth for his heavenly home. Back in the days of Father Jack & Epiphany's donuts Sundays, I remember Carlos always there to help out with an affectious smile & his wonderful way on communicating in both English & Spanish. It's been awhile since I last saw him and now I can only offer my deepest sympathy to his family that loved. I know he was very proud of his wife, their children, & all his extended family. Rest in peace kind sir & may the perpetual light shine upon you.
