Cyprian Udechukwu Agbazue

Cy was a kind and dedicated husband and father who loved his family dearly. He was honest, compassionate and godly, practicing his love of God in the manner in which he lived his life daily. He went on to show his love of God by associating with and being very much involved in the running and leadership of several Christian organisations.
We give God all glory for Cy’s examplary life and believe he is now resting peacefully in the loving arms of the Almighty Father.

Cy will be sorely missed!

My thoughts are with his wife Chinyere and their children. The pain of losing a dear one is intense but with faith in the Lord, the pain will ease up with time. Chi, I pray that the Lord of Hope gives you and the children, His peace as you trust in Him. He is your strength every morning and your salvation in your pain. Be strong for the Lord is with you.

May Cy’s gentle soul rest in perfect peace, Amen.

Cyprian Agbazue was a mentor , a great motivation, a role model and a spiritual father to me.
When I joined the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International- Nigeria, following huge frustrating losses in business, I had needed urgent solace in God he, in particular and few other men became instrumental to nurturing my weary soul to maturity in the Lord.

Little wonder therefore that the news of his demise was unacceptable to me, I had always seen him as God's own property and veritable tool in the hands of the most high. I had therefore no iota of doubt in my mind that God was going to restore him to health and continue to use him to call men back into himself.
I had no idea that he had finished his assignment and was due to receiving his reward and we'll deserved rest in the bosom of the Almighty.

My solace therefore is that we shall re-unite someday at the feet of the most high.
My sincere prayers go to the wife, children and other immediate family members, that God himself will console them all over this colossal loss.
And to my spiritual father I say, goodbye, kind hearted man, goodbye nwoke oma enyi oha. Goodbye man of God, goodbye vessel of honour, goodbye mighty man of valour.

Cy, in you, death has robbed us of a great inlaw and friend; a great prayer warrior, a great evangelist-- indeed a colossus in the best Christian values. We mourn your demise!
May the merciful God receive your gentle soul in His heavenly bosom. Our condolences go to the wonderful wife and children. We commend them to the care and love of our Father in Heaven.

Still quite heavy to write a tribute to my Brother-in-Christ, CY Agbazue. I had known Br. CY for close to 30 years and I never ceased to marvel at his consummate commitment to the business of the Lord's Vineyard. It was/is always a source of discussion and admiration between my wife and I. His dogged tenacity to active service in ministry and particularly, to vineyard endeavors that he was passionate about, was exemplary. A truly unfazed soldier of Christ is gone. With assurances of God welcoming him to His bosom, our prayer is for God's strength to be with the wife, children, wider family and the Body of Christ as we mourn his departure in Jesus' name....amen.

Dear great father in the Lord, the news but of your death was a shock to me. You will forever be remembered for the Godly seed God sowed in my life through your message. you have indeed fought a good fight of faith. May God crown you and grant you eternal rest in Jesus name. May God continue to bless your family and loved ones you left behind the fortitude to bear the loss.

Bro. Agbazue touched many lives in very unique and uncommon ways.
His approach to life was very simplistic. Though he was high ,he humbled himself for the purpose of the Kingdom. His messages were immortal and heavenly focused. He saw ahead of time everything happening today in the world of men in the name of modernity and fashion, describing the ravenous trend as fashion from the pit of hell.
I chatted him up via WhatsApp early last year ,2020, while in the U.S , but unlike his charismatic self he did not respond. The last time we exchanged messages he tried to link me up to a Christian group. I never knew that would be the last I would hear from him.
I never knew he was ill.
He ran the race ,he has reached the mark and the time has come for him to wear the crown.
Though we did not anticipate an early return home,who are we to question God.
Bro. Agbazue was everything a true believer should be.
He is in Heaven, interceding for us.
May God grant his family the fortitude to bear his absence.

With total submission to the will of God, my family and I commiserate with Dr. Chinyere Agbazue and her children , Chuka and his siblings, on the death of our beloved Surveyor, Cy Agbazue.

Cy, our gentle giant, was a loving and dedicated husband, a cherished father, and a proud and beloved grandfather.

I never thought I would have to pay tribute to Cy. A father should not have to do this for someone he considers to be a son.

Cy adopted me as his confidant in his youth and sought my counsel and involvement in most of the significant steps he took in life. My wife and I were at Owerri, where we met Chinyere’s lovely parents for the traditional marriage. We were also their ‘marriage sponsors’ at their wedding, and we remained connected to the family as they grew.

Cy was a dependable man with a great sense of integrity. He took his religious beliefs seriously and was devout, prayerful, and faithful.

Cy’s demise is a huge loss, not only to his beloved family but to many of us who were privileged to know him. May his memory remain with us to comfort us. To his wife, Chinyere and his children, and the entire Agbazue family of Umuezana, Egbema, Ozubulu, please accept our heartfelt sympathy.

Cy, until we meet again, may God, who you served so faithfully, hold you in the palm of His hand.
