Destiny Marie Villela, 23, passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2025, in Houston, Texas.
A pharmacy technician by trade, Destiny’s true passion was baking. She found so much joy in creating desserts for others, constantly experimenting with new recipes to share with her friends and family. Destiny was a naturally nurturing and caring soul who deeply valued her relationships. While she was shy upon first meeting,
She is survived by her mother, Melanie; her brothers, Mario Jr. and Joseph; her grandmother, Janie; her uncles, Jose, Carlos and Gabriel; her aunt, Betty; and her beloved cat, Honey. She was preceded in death by her father, Mario Sr.; her grandmother, Heather; and her grandfathers, Jose and Ken.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service from 10 am to 12 noon. Burial service will follow at 2 pm at the Waelder Community Cemetery (824 Avenue D., Waelder, TX 78959).
