Ezequiel Alvarez Vargas passed away September 9th, 2017 with his family by his side in Katy, TX.
His mother and father both originated from Huandacareo, Michoacán, Mexico where Ezequiel was born and later immigrated to the United States. He resided in Chicagoland for many years, where he worked at Rickets Restaurant, before moving to Katy along with his children.
He is survived by
Ezequiel's favorite past times included spending time with his family playing dominoes, watching sports, playing music, dancing and enjoying life. In his retirement years he was able to spend more time in his beloved hometown. He was known for his generous nature and joyous spirit. He loved entertaining and his charisma was unlike any other. His generosity and hospitality will never be forgotten.
A visitation will be held at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 starting at 1:00PM. A funeral mass will follow beginning at 2:00PM.

his wife Juana Alvarez; his brothers Agustin Alvarez and Luis Alvarez; his sister Rita Alvarez; his children Juanita, Arnaldo, Unvelina, Elizabeth and Rigoberto; their spouses; 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
