Jean Brown Muster, known to most as Jeanie, passed away on November 25th, 2009. She was born January 11, 1917 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
A 1935 Art Graduate of Carroll College, Jeanie loved art and reading. She was a talented sculptor and painter whose home could hardly contain all of her art and books.
Jeanie celebrated the simple things in life, and was caring, patient and devoted to her family and friends. She was married to Professor D. F. Muster for 63 years. Together, they travelled the world several times over and made friends everywhere they went. Now, in God’s grace, Doug and Jeanie are together again, laughing and loving.
Jeanie was the Mother of five children and was preceded in death by her oldest son David (2006) and husband Douglas (2007), and survived by daughter Deborah Thomasson, and sons Randy, Scott and Gordon Muster – all from Houston.
Her immediate family includes daughters-in-law Barbara and Jerilyn Muster, elevan grand children: Heather Mary, Christopher, Alex, Chris, Amber, Heather Renee, Jennifer, James, Nathan, Elizabeth, and Evan, and seven great-grand children: Basil, Jordan, Lucas, Robert, Wyatt, Dixon and Tristan. We will all miss her sweetness, compassion, generosity and warmth.
A graveside service will be held at Noon, December 5th, 2009, Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77060. A celebration of her life will be held immediately after the service at her son’s house.
