In Memory of
John Dean Fortune
-

John D. Fortune, 65, passed away on April 11, 2011. He is survived by his daughter, Samantha, and her mother, Debra Fortune.

Dean, as fondly known by all, was a kind hearted, easy going man. He was a loving and doting Father whose world revolved around his daughter, Samantha.

He was a loyal friend especially to Debra and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.

May he now rest in peace

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
God looked around His garden
And He found an empty place.
And then He looked down
upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you.
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An Irish Blessing

(A Blessing from St. Patrick)

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And, until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

Aunt Debbie and Sam,

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a good man and will be missed. Although it has been many years since I have seen Dean, the memories I have of him are all good. It makes me smile to remember them. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God speed Uncle Dean.

Another year Dean. Time flies and it's hard to believe we are at seven years. You have company now with Dad and Dawn. Raise a glass. <3
