Marilyn Davis Nicholson, 66, passed away into the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on March 16, 2021 at her home in Spring, Texas. She was born on December 10, 1954 in Altus, Oklahoma to Richard Carl Davis and Mary Frances Pruett Davis.
She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Brian Nicholson; her son, Andrew Nicholson & wife Nicole; her brothers, Rick Davis & wife Jan, and Doug Davis & wife Carol; her mother-in-law, Anne Nicholson; sister-in-law Leah Jones & husband Darrell; her brother-in-law, Evan Nicholson; her Stepmother, Doris Davis; and her nephews, Greg Davis, Clay Davis, Glen Davis, Mark Davis, Trevor Jones, and Eric Jones.
We would so like to greatly thank the wonderful team at the Baylor St. Luke's Lung Transplant Center for the love and care the Doctors and Nurses provided to Marilyn so she had an extra 4 years and 3 months with us. Their constant kindness was a blessing that allowed Marilyn and me to dance at Andrew and Nicole's wedding. Also many thanks to her nurse Susan and the Purple Team at Houston Hospice for their aid and comfort during this difficult time. Thank you all.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church (14301 Stuebner Airline Rd., Houston, TX 77069). The visitation starts at 10 AM and the funeral will be at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery (13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079).
