Michael Kasian, of Deer Park, Texas died suddenly on September 25, 2025. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on February 27, 1948. He was the oldest of three children of Mike and Catherine Kasian. As a young family the Kasians moved to California, where his brother Paul and sister Nancy still reside. For the past eight years, Michael and his companion Jana enjoyed fostering for the Rescued Pets Movement, Pasadena Animal Shelter and the All Texas Dachshund Rescue. After learning about green burial last year, Michael expressed his interest. Accordingly, he will be buried at Blazing Star Sanctuary, located within the Katy Prairie Preserve, on October 8 at 11 a.m.
