I’m Free

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I’m following the path God has laid you see.
I took His hand when I heard him call
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found that peace at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Oh yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and peace to thee
God wanted me now; He set me free.

May God comfort the family... Crystal, Grant, Nicole... The three of yall need to stick together and help each other through this touch and tragic time...

I feel so lucky to have been a part of Allen's life, even if it was just for a short time. All of my memories are beautiful. He was always a joy, so sweet and so funny. Kim and I know that we will see him again and then we will make up for the lost time.

Allen was a great family member and I had a lot of childhood memories of Allen.I was an only child and allen grew up beside me, so he was more of a brother than a cousin. I will miss him a lot. He will always have a place in my heart. I Love You

It was a pleasure being part of Allen's life as well as the rest of his family. I have so many memories especially of all the concerts we used to go to and living in the trailer in Humble. Matter of fact not too long ago he brought up all the concerts we went to himself and I had forgotten about it. He will be sorely missed but is now with his family that has beat him there. May the family fond peace and comfort. Never will my birthday go by without my thinking of him, not sure anyone remembers but he was only 8 days older than me and I always thought about him on his birthday.
