Barbara Ann Ryan, 84, passed away on July 18, 2023 in Spring, Texas. She was born on September 1, 1938 in Cuero, Texas to Lloyd Henry Powell and Lena Veora (Grant) Powell.
Barbara married William "Bill" Ryan on September 8, 1956 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Cuero, Texas. They were happily married for 58 years.
Barbara's favorite pastimes were painting and drawing, and shopping. She was a fashionista and looked fabulous everywhere she went.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Ryan; her son, Michael Ryan; her daughter, Debbie Williams; and her sister, Jacqueline.
Funeral Services are planned for Wednesday, July 26, 2023 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service. Visitation starts at 9 a.m. and the funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery (8601 Almeda Genoa Rd, Houston, TX 77075) at 12 noon.

is survived by her daughter, Alisa Benoit & husband Tommy; son-in-law, Glen Williams; grandchildren, Sean Williams & wife Ashley, Nicole Cox & husband Robert, Brittany Signorin & husband Travis, and Kayla Lewis & husband Travis; great-grandchildren, Riley, Trevor, Dawson, Elijah, Camilla, Mason, Mikayla, Brianna, and Reagan; and two great-great-grandchildren, Morgan and Axel.

I am saddened at the death of my dear friend,Barbara. She was always a considerate,kind,generous, and loving person. My condolences to her family and friends. She was such a good ,caring,loving ,peaceful and wonderful woman to me.She jokes a lot.Whenever I asked her to take Dr Pepper drink,she will say”oh it’s horrible I don’t want it”Her demise really got to me but I’m happy she has gone to be with her maker.May her gentle soul rest in peace.I’ll love you forever ❤️❤️❤️
Our hearts go out to to Alisa and her family. We will miss talking with your mother. Barbara was like another mom to Kim and I. We will miss her dearly. Our condolence to the family and we are here for ya"ll.
