In Memory of
Beverly Kay Lamkin

Kay entered through the gates of heaven on August 24th, 2013 at the young age of 57.  She was born in Ballinger, Texas on April 28th, 1956 to the late Robert Ervin and Betty Jo (Cowlishaw) Moser.  Kay grew up in Valera, Texas for the majority of her childhood life, and graduated from Talpa-Centennial High School.

A devoted mother to her only son Joshua Ryan Lamkin, who made her life full and complete.  She was so proud of the man he had become and even more proud when Joshua’s son Nolan was born.  Nolan filled her heart with pure joy.  She was an amazing grandmother who truly enjoyed spoiling Nolan with anything and everything she could. Kay loved her family and would talk about them often to her friends and even strangers.

She absolutely loved Texas and would put you in check if you spoke negative about her beloved state including the Cowboys, Texans, and Astros. She loved traveling, cruises, a good Margarita with salt, and spending time with her dogs.

Kay was preceeded in death by her parents Robert Ervin and Betty Jo Moser, her daughter Alisha Belit Lamkin, and her beloved dog Chew.

She is survived by her son, Joshua Ryan and Grandson Nolan Mitchell Lamkin of Katy, TX; Brother Kenneth (Butch) Moser, and wife Elissa (Davis) of Moody, TX; Sister Thressa (Trecia) Yoder, and husband Tony of San Antonio, TX.  She is also survived by 5 Nieces and nephews Kent Moser; Kandra Rincones; Kelsey Mantey; Alex Yoder; and Tyler Yoder.  She is also survived by 3 great-nieces Cailyn Moser; Alaina and Kensley Mantey; and one great nephew Kade Rincones, as well as other extended family members who she loved and adored.
