Bishop Gabriel Sundagar Innis, Sr., 66, passed away on March 3, 2024 at his home in Spring, Texas. He was born on March 17, 1957 in Rivercess County, Liberia to George B. Innis and Weatti Paye Innis.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sarah Browne Innis; daughter, Leelee Innis Watson & husband Henry Watson, son, Gabriel S. Innis Jr & wife Faith, daughter, Grace Innis Beakoi & husband Amos Beakoi, daughter, Love Innis & husband Yaw Asomah, daughter, Wayeyah Innins, and son Isaac Innis; 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Formah Innis.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 6pm to 8:30pm at Fairfield Baptist Church (27240 US-290, Cypress, TX 77433). The funeral will be at the church on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery (13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060).
