Carol Redding passed away at her home in Houston on December 12, 2016 surrounded by her family. She celebrated her one-hundredth birthday just a few months before. She was an enthusiastic, adventurous spirit. She loved her friends and her friends loved her. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Carol grew up on Long island, learning to sail in the Great South Bay. Carol loved to travel. When not in Europe, one could find her zipping around the American West in her VW camper. She was intelligent, well read, and told a great story. Mom's sense of humor makes us smile even today.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, and her daughter Jane. Carol is survived by three children, Lyn, Kate, and Chuck, two grandchildren, Jeff Ward (Lisa), and Audrey Sentinella (Andrew), and seven great grandchildren.
She requested that our celebration of her life be held in Santa Fe, NM, where she enjoyed living for a number of years. For more information get in touch with Chuck Redding.
