On December 1, 1974, the world became a brighter place with the birth of Marco Antonio Rueda. Across his 51 years, Marco brought unmatched warmth, quiet strength, and genuine joy into the lives of everyone around him. On August 16, 2026, he passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Marco’s life was defined by his bright, welcoming spirit, in every picture of him, he always showed a big, unforgettable smile that could light up any room. He was the kind of person who made home feel safe and gatherings feel special, whether he was enthusiastically talking about video games, sporting his favorite Colombian sombrero, or simply being a steady presence when it mattered most.
His family finds immense comfort in knowing that he is reunited with his beloved puppy, Crystal, who went on ahead first to wait for him. Now, Crystal is guiding him through the afterlife, and the two are enjoying peaceful, gentle walks together around thepool once again.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Maggie Corpus, and his cherished children, Gabriella Rueda and Diego Rueda, along with a loving circle of family and friends who will deeply miss his smile, warmth, and companionship.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service. Visitation begins at 10 AM and the service starts at 11 AM.
Psalms 107; 1-16
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story— those he redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south. Some wandered in desert wastelands, finding no way to a city where they could settle. They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness, prisoners suffering in iron chains, because they rebelled against God’s commands and despised the plans of the Most High. So he subjected them to bitter labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help. Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron.
