Charles Craig Walters went to be with the Lord on June 17, 2018 at the age of 57.
A Celebration of Life Service at Second Baptist Church/Chapel 6400 Woodway Drive will be held at 11:00 Monday, July 9, 2018.
Craig was the proud son of Betty & Charles (Bubba) Walters. He was born in Houston, Texas, grew up in Meyerland and graduated BellaireHigh School. Craig was a member of the Bellaire baseball team, playing shortstop, as they made two trips to the state championship. He was involved in little league as a player and coach. He loved baseball and treasured these memories always.
Craig attended both Texas A&M University and The University of Houston. His working career was spent with Texas Children's Hospital where he spent over 20 years and enjoyed the company of countless friends and fellow employees.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Walters Vernon and step father Donald, sister Jan Walters Witham and husband Nyal, Houston, Texas sister Carol Sue Stewart and husband Ron and niece Stephanie Stewart, Scottsdale, Arizona.
Craig loved his savior, Jesus Christ, and will rest in His arms always.
