In Memory of
Charles Craig Walters
-

Charles Craig Walters went to be with the Lord on June 17, 2018 at the age of 57.

A Celebration of Life Service at Second Baptist Church/Chapel 6400 Woodway Drive will be held at 11:00 Monday, July 9, 2018.

Craig was the proud son of Betty & Charles (Bubba) Walters.  He was born in Houston, Texas, grew up in Meyerland and graduated Bellaire High School.  Craig was a member of the Bellaire baseball team, playing shortstop, as they made two trips to the state championship.  He was involved in little league as a player and coach.  He loved baseball and treasured these memories always.

Craig attended both Texas A&M University and The University of Houston.  His working career was spent with Texas Children's Hospital where he spent over 20 years and enjoyed the company of countless friends and fellow employees.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Walters Vernon and step father Donald, sister Jan Walters Witham and husband Nyal, Houston, Texas sister Carol Sue Stewart and husband Ron and niece Stephanie Stewart, Scottsdale, Arizona.

Craig loved his savior, Jesus Christ, and will rest in His arms always.

Craig Walters was a wonderful employee who understood the meaning of the word "team." He was always focused on the good of the company and the department than on his own benefit. He made many great contributions to the company and helped it move forward in numerous ways. His work here will never be forgotten. He will be greatly missed by the second shift team.

Craig was a sweet and loving brother and uncle with a good sense of humor and a soft spot for pets. He was very patriotic and loved his country. We will miss him tremendously.
