In Memory of
Don Clayton Guntle
Don Clayton Guntle was born on April 16, 1950 in Richmond, Texas to Clayton Engel Guntle and Aline Arnold.
He served in the United States Army stationed in Germany in the late 1960’s. Don married the love of his life, Norma Sims on May 12, 1990, making their home in Katy, Texas. He worked for Quanex/Gulf States Tube in Rosenberg for 30 years. He then worked for Tubes, Inc. in Brookshire for 10 years until his retirement in 2020. Don made many trips to Colorado and Yellowstone through the years, taking beautiful pictures of mountains, rivers and wildlife.
Don passed away on November 20, 2025 after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers David Calvin Guntle and Roger Alan Guntle.
Don is survived by his wife, Norma, his sisters Deedy Bean and Sandy (Michael) Cox, brother Carl Arnold (Carol) Guntle, sister-in-law Carol Lynn Guntle, step-children Rene’ (Buddy) Jones, Lisa (Scott) Parker, Timothy (Michelle) Sims, 6 step-grandchildren,6 step-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 13th at 10:00 am at Christian Family Church, 5615 Queenston Blvd., Houston, TX 77084.
