In Memory of
Edna Tobias Minton
-

It is with great sadness that we share the loss of our dear Edna Tobias Minton, who passed through the veil to her eternal home on January 28, 2021. She was born on April 12, 1968, in Houston, Texas to Adolfo and Maria Teresa Tobias. Edna graduated from St. Pius X High School in Houston, Texas with the class of 1986 and then went on to achieve her bachelor's degree at Houston Baptist University.

She is survived by her daughter, Trinity Minton; Mother, Maria Teresa Tobias; Father, Adolfo E. Tobias; Brothers: Adolfo (Rudy) Tobias, Alexandro (Alex) Tobias; Sister, Magda Tobias; nieces, nephews and many more beloved members of her extended family.

She was a great mother and would have done anything for her beautiful daughter Trinity. Our hearts mourn but we are comforted by our testimony of the eternal nature of life and families. Edna would wish that our memories of her bring us smiles and fill our hearts with joyous anticipation for the sweet reunions that await us.

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing pandemic and to minimize the risk to family, friends, and loved ones, there will be no immediate formal services celebrating Edna's life and the Savior’s plan of eternal salvation. But please find comfort, if you wish, by sharing your memories and experiences as the opportunity allows so that Edna's legacy of love, joy and kindness to all will continue.

To this day, I am still in shock and in disbelief of the sudden passing of my favorite cousin, Edna. I have many unanswered questions and it hurts me that you left us so soon. I know you fought this battle to the very end, but I am grateful you are no longer in pain.

I am going to miss our road trips, never ending laughs, and our daily conversations. We will all miss that beautiful smile that radiated the room, and we miss your outgoing personality.

At the very end, I know you are a better place and hope you watch over Trinity and the family.

Until we see each other again…

Sending our deepest condolences to the entire family from the Armenta Family. We were unaware of their unfortunate loss of their lovely family member. My family and I were close to the family many years ago. May God keep you covered in your time of need.
