Eduardo Perez

On Thursday, January 21, 2021, Eduardo Perez, beloved husband and father, passed away at the age of 65 in Houston, TX. He was born on March 1, 1955 in Guatemala and lived the majority of his life in the United States of America with his family.

Eduardo dedicated his life in service of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the early 1970s, the Lord led Eduardo out of a guerilla militia lifestyle in Guatemala and rescued him in a prison cell. In the late 1970s, he earned his degree in Theology. Since then, he ministered and led thousands of lives to Christ in his 40 years of ministry around the world. He was an avid reader and poet. He also loved to travel, especially by train, to various countries in Europe with his wife. When Eduardo was not traveling, his most favorite thing to do was to spend time at home with his wife, children, grandchildren, and his dogs. Eduardo’s testimony and ministry will live on in the lives of thousands within the Latin community. His life’s memory and legacy will live on in the lives of his family, who cherished and loved him dearly.

Eduardo was preceded in death by his father, Pedro, his mother, Aminta, and his brother, Luis. He is survived by his wife, Marisol and by his seven children, Abigail, Eduardo, Marisol, Cristian, Tamara, Pedro, and Carin. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and several nieces and nephews.

A service will be held on Saturday, January 30^th, 2021 at Current Christian Church at 10:30am, followed by a viewing at 12pm.  26600 Westheimer Pkwy, Katy, TX 77494

El jueves 21 de enero de 2021, Eduardo Pérez, amado esposo y padre, falleció a la edad de 65 años en Houston, TX. Nació el 1 de marzo de 1955 en Guatemala y vivió la mayor parte de su vida en los Estados Unidos de América con su familia.

Eduardo dedicó su vida al servicio del Evangelio de Jesucristo. A principios de los 1970s, el Señor sacó a Eduardo del estilo de vida de la milicia guerrillera en Guatemala y lo rescató en una celda de la prisión. A finales de los 1970s, obtuvo su título en Teología. Desde entonces, ministró y llevó miles de vidas a Cristo en sus 40 años de ministerio en todo el mundo. Fue un ávido lector y poeta. También le encantaba viajar, especialmente en tren, a varios países de Europa con su esposa. Cuando Eduardo no estaba viajando, lo que más le gustaba hacer era pasar tiempo en casa con su esposa, hijos, nietos y sus perros. El testimonio y el ministerio de Eduardo perdurarán en la vida de miles de personas dentro de la comunidad latina. La memoria y el legado de su vida vivirán en la vida de su familia, que lo apreciaba y amaba profundamente.

Eduardo fue precedido en la muerte por su padre, Pedro, su madre, Aminta, y su hermano, Luis. Le sobreviven su esposa, Marisol y sus siete hijos, Abigail, Eduardo, Marisol, Cristian, Tamara, Pedro y Carin. También le sobreviven 21 nietos, 2 hermanos, 3 hermanas y varias sobrinas y sobrinos.

Se llevará a cabo un servicio el sábado 30 de enero de 2021 en Current Christian Church a las 10:30 am, seguido de una visita a las 12 pm. 26600 Westheimer Pkwy, Katy, TX 77494
