In Memory of
Gloria Ellen Saucier Alsworth
-

Gloria Ellen Saucier was the fourth child born to Noel Saucier and Rita Stewart in Gulfport, Mississippi on July 2, 1942.  She was also blessed to have a step-mother who helped raise her, Mabel. As a child, Gloria was known for her adventurous spirit and her love for drawing.  Gloria grew up having a close relationship with her siblings, who all preceded her in death, which included her sisters, Mamie Sue Saucier, Lamerle Saucier Greensage, her brothers, John O. Saucier and Francis “Teddy” Saucier, and step-sisters, Marie Prause, Lily Thompson, Arie Newell and Louise Ray. She had a total of 8 children, surviving by George Eberly III (Cindy), Christopher Eberly (Joetta), Thomas Eberly (Annette), Randy Alsworth Sr. (Holly), Cynthia Alsworth Fenton, Crystal Jovana (Tim) and Judy Master and was preceded in death by 1 of her children, Clark Dean Eberly.  With the blessing of 8 children, she was also blessed with 14 grandchildren: Dianna Eberly Blasingame, Chad Eberly, Christa Eberly Loos (Justin), Brittany Eberly Pieratt (Jordan), Nolan Eberly, Elizabeth Eberly Gutierrez (William), Nathan Eberly (Alexa), Brandyn Eberly (Diane), Justin Eberly (Melanie), Randy Alsworth Jr, Abigail Fenton, Tanner Fenton, Jovana Marie, Viola Leigh, Leah Baird and Hannah Baird and even more abundantly blessed with 17 great-grandchildren.

Gloria was courageous and a fighter. It was this strength that helped her continue after some of the challenges she faced in her life, which included the life changing moment in 1976.  She was involved in a tragic car accident and was the only survivor, an accident that left her in a coma for several months. She had to relearn to walk, talk and do daily life-tasks.

Gloria’s favorite Bible verse was John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Her favorite song was Jesus Loves Me.  In 2010, at a church camp meeting, she testified how much she loved Jesus and was grateful for God saving her. We know she loved and believed in Jesus.

Gloria Ellen Alsworth passed away November 27, 2024. Please join us in celebration of her life on December 15, 2024, 2:00 pm at Calvary Outreach Church, 14525 Chapperal Pipeline Rd, Conroe, Texas 77302.
