Gwen Michelle DeAntonio, stepped into the Light of God's Loving presence on April 15, 2020. A candle burned brightly for Gwen since she entered the world 46 years ago on August 7, 1973. Gwen was fiercely loyal and protective of her friends and family. We will always remember her infectious smile, piercing hazel eyes, and caring personality. She impacted every life she touched and this loss will be felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her beautiful soul. She will be best admired as a vivacious and avid artist. Whether it was her breathtaking paintings and drawings or her penchant for creating beautiful jewelry, her talents were to immense to count.
All that knew and loved
Gwen came to understand that her heart was bigger than the state of Texas & California combined. Anyone that has had the honor of encountering Gwen could tell you of her unwavering and unrelenting quest to provide not only compassion, but also aid and support ALWAYS to those that were less fortunate than herself. Blanket drives, winter coats and clothing, Christmas presents for transient and needy families of no less than six were just a few of the kind and selfless acts that only a soul as caring as Gwen could perform. So when you think of Gwen, PLEASE celebrate the great times and warm memories you have of her. She would want you to flash a smile to someone who needs it, show love to someone who desperately needs to see it, and remember that life is fragile and oh so short, live it to the fullest.
Gwen will be deeply missed by all who knew her and especially missed by the surviving members of her family, mother Deborah Diaz, step-father David Diaz, brother Jesse Richardson, sister-in-law La'Qresha Benjamin-Richardson, nephew Caleb Richardson, niece Calysta Mullone, uncle Robert Johnson, aunt Sue Johnson, uncle Robert Johnson and long-time companion Bonnie Fitzgerald, uncle Mark Buckalew, aunt Kelly Green, and aunt Diane Diaz.
In lieu of sending flower arrangements, the family welcomes you to share any lasting memories, funny stories, warm thoughts of Gwen or simply any empathetic words or kind thoughts you want to share with the them.
