In Memory of
Hasmik Sarkis Abrilian
-

Hasmik Abrilian died in Armenia with her husband by her side. She was born to Krikor and Shake Assadourian in Beirut, Lebanon on April 17, 1960.  She married  Sarkis Abrilian on May 20, 1979, and they lived together in Detroit, Michigan for 5 years before relocating to Houston, Texas. Hasmik is survived by her husband Sarkis Abrilian and her three children: Anto (Mirna) Abrilian, Taline (Deshun) Bradley and Sevag Abrilian. She is also survived by her four grandchildren: Leilani, Madison, Marcellino and Marybelle.

Hasmik was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She would lend a helping hand to anyone who needed her. Hasmik had a heart and soul of gold.

Her presence would light up the room... it was her glow, her smile, her gentle touch. Friends became family with her and people cannot forget her.

Losing a mother is a pain that cannot be described in words. It is virtually impossible to move on from the memory of the woman who sacrifices the happiness in her own life so we could have a better one.  Her love was truly irresponsible.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Saint Kevork Armenian Church. The burial will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.

My deepest condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Hasmik (Mom).

My memory of Mrs. Hasmik was how sweet and caring she was of family and friends. I was a total stranger to her and her husband. They only knew me through word of mouth from their son Mike. They allowed me to share a garage sale with them and helped with a few other issues I encountered. When we first met they both treated me like family. I was so impressed how she helped Mike and I set up everything for the sale. She made sure I ate and had water. It started to rain toward the evening and Mike had fallen asleep. She said "He's not gonna wake up anytime soon." LOL". She and her husband got out there and helped me put everything back inside the garage and my car. I told her I could do it myself but she insisted. We had lots of stuff there too! I really appreciated them for the way they treated me.

To Mike my friend: Your Mother and Dad really love you in a special way. They both just want the best for you and for you to be the intelligent, loving and awesome man that you can be. Do it for her cause she is still watching over you. Just know somebody is praying for you always. (ME) I know you will do it! I believe in you! Keeping you and your family in my prayers. If you need me, call me. I will be there.

Love you always my friend,

Kathy
