Jim was always one of my favorite people! I worked with both him and Joan for many years as the Piper's Meadow assistant GM otherwise known as the "mean deed restriction lady" to use the nicer of the names I was called! He ALWAYS greeted you with a warm smile! He was never a chatty kind of guy but he had such an easy going manner which made him so easy to be around. He and Joan raised four sons and contributed to the success of their community for many many years. I observed their relationship over the years and it always inspired me. He quietly, for the most part, did what needed to be done (read: as Joan requested) and she always took good care of him. This made for a successful relationship! I also remember that he was the best Santa around! I'll miss him dearly and my thoughts and prayers are with Joan and her boys, as they always have been! We love you Joan and if you need ANYTHING. . .don't hesitate.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. We are so glad we got to see you both at Brian's wedding. I still love that Uncle Jim looked so much like dad, but with an Texas sized accent. Love to all.
