Jane Carlene Baker, 86, of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012. She was born on April 24, 1926 in Lubbock, Texas to Carl and Louise Ellis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Quin Baker and son Jay Faulkner.
She is survived by her daughter Sonya Lloveras and husband Alan of Houston; her other son Herschel (Mac) Faulkner and wife Elizabeth of Little Rock; her grand children Leigh and Lauren Lloveras, Carl Faulkner, Mary Turriff and husband Bryan; her great grand children Jackson and Theo Turriff.
Jane was a loving, caring, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved life and natural beauty. She captured life in her art work. She loved books and being with her family. Her Christian faith guided her throughout her life.. She was a member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church. There will be a private graveside service this Thursday.
