Janet was always very sweet. She will be missed by her family and friends. Peace be with her.

Janet Lynn Murray, 65, passed away on December 8, 2020 in Shenandoah, Texas.
On November 10th, 1955 the world was blessed by the birth of Janet Lynn Eaves. From childhood to adulthood she was a force to be reckoned with. Her parents and siblings have shared stories upon stories of all of her adventures, some mischievous and some inspiring. Her freshman year she met the love of her life on a trail ride and loved to tell us that story. They started dating and eventually married on November 22, 1974. Janet and Chris were proud parents of 4 children, 3 “children-in-love” (as she referred to them) and were later blessed with 8 grandchildren that their world revolved around. Through many ups and downs, their commitment to one another never faltered. They were fortunate enough to share 46 years of a beautiful marriage.
Janet was such a fun loving spirit. She loved with her whole heart. Anyone thathas been blessed to know her, truly knew that they were in the presence of someone special. Her husband, kids and grandkids were her entire life. She was a Christ follower and steadfast in her faith. There was no doubt in her mind that Heaven would be her final resting place. We take comfort in knowing that Jesus was waiting for her with open arms.
Janet was a fighter living most her life with many health conditions, and she always put on a brave face. Her strength and bravery is something that we have witnessed, learned from and will carry on for the rest of our lives. She was truly an inspiration to many people and touched so many lives even in the end. Her legacy will continue to live on through her family.
We are sad to let her go, but honored knowing Jesus got a good one!
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Chris Alan Murray; her children, Chris Michael Murray & wife Rachel, James Matthew Murray & wife Tessa, Angela Janette McGullion & husband Tyson, and Katherine Annette Rich; grandchildren, Austin Christopher Murray & Mikayla Brooke Murray, Payton Michelle Murray & Lacie James Murray, Tye Lynn McGullion & Brody Alexander McGullion, Carleigh Annette Rich & Cooper Jacob Rich; her brother, Dr. David Nelson & wife Cynthia; and her sister, Carolyn Lee & husband Ricky.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Betty Ann Monroy.
