Jesus Valdez Merlan, 73, passed away suddenly on February 14, 2023 in Houston, Texas. He was born on December 25, 1949 to Cleto Valdez Arroyo and Emelia Merlan Soto in La Laja, Mexico.
He is survived by his loving wife, Olimpia Valdez; his son, Jesus Valdez, Jr.& wife Priscilla; his daughter, Kristinah Dvorak & husband John; and 6 grandchildren with one more on the way.
Services are schedule for Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in the chapel of Beresford Funeral Service from 9 AM to 1 PM. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery (8601 Almeda Genoa Rd. Houston, TX 77075).
