J.T. was one of my very best friends in Jr and Sr High Schools. We got our first jobs together at Baskin Robbins at 14 years old, and when we worked same shift, we had more fun than work. We played sports, rode bikes, hung out at each other's parents house, and traveled with each other's families. Most of all we laughed...and laughed often. Jim had one of the best senses of humor, and as guys do we had our share of poking fun of each other. Always with a smile, not with ill intent.
JT, Steve and I were the 3 musketeers you could say. During our high school years we did everything together. Some of my fondest memories of those days are being at the Taylor's home in Colleyville, laughing, him Mom June fixing us something good to eat and then going out to garage and 'help' Jim work on his VW project.
June is such a special person who was always smiling and welcoming us into their home. She was and is a Christian, whose faith in Jesus will undoubtedly get her through the earthly loss of her son.
God Bless you, June and Steve and the rest of the Taylor family.
