In Memory of
Kay Czach
-

Kay was born in Center Point Texas. After her Father’s death when she was very young, she and brother Thomas grew up with mother Minnie and stepfather Charlie Kaiser whom preceded her in death.

She met her husband John in 1979 when they worked at JVC in Houston. Kay went on to work at NACE International from 1992 to her retirement late 2010.

She passed away after a year long struggle with cancer. She had one last Christmas with John, children William Bird and Amanda Nguyen. William’s wife Siri and children Katie and Aaron; and Amanda’s husband Bill and children Jacob, Jackson and James, and is survived by brother Thomas George, wife Angie and nephew Lyle.

Her yard was her passion and she took that passion with her into the Texas Master Naturalist program and it’s many associated volunteer activities. She was a regular delegate to the State Republican Convention and she and John attended many regular party activities. They enjoyed vacations to American and Texas historical sites and biologically important and scenic areas.

Kay’s passing is a very heavy loss to many people.

A celebration of Kay’s Life will be held at John and Kay’s home 2424 Esperanza Richmond TX 77406 Sunday January 18 noon to 4.

I worked with Kay for several years at NACE. Kay was in customer service and skilled at many things, but what stands out to me how she helped others. NACE customers are students who sometimes called Kay for help in getting into NACE classes. Kay went a lot further than registering folks -- she spent time with them and guided them, and ultimately, hundreds of NACE students bettered their lot in life because of the guidance that Kay passionately gave to them regarding their focus on education. She did this to the extent that some of the field workers who she helped the most referred to as "mom" and only wanted to talk with her when they phoned NACE. She had an incredible impact on many lives and we will remember her always. God Bless. - h. seelinger, NACE

I am so saddened that we have all lost Kay. I met Kay through my Master Naturalist class of 2012. I didn't know her well, but I always enjoyed seeing her and talking to her. She was bright, cheerful and funny. I will miss her. My condolences to the family.

Gary and I send our deepest sympathy. We will miss seeing Kay with you at all of the different political functions. I always enjoyed getting to visit with her, she was always kind and interested in what Gary was doing.
