He then married the LOVE OF HIS LIFE Carol Ann Kalich on June 12, 1965 in Schulenburg, TX. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968. Most of his military time was spent in Japan where Carol joined him. Returning to the states, their marriage was blessed with 2 children, Nathan Edward Marx and Katrina Gail Marx Olin. Kenneth then entered the business machine industry with Olivetti. Soon after, he established his own company, Southern Office Machines, which he still owned and operated until his passing. Kenneth had very clear passions in his life. Family, faith, and friends always came first, and his love for hunting and the outdoors followed closely behind. Kenneth always had a smile, a 'kind' word to say, or a helping hand to give to those he came in contact with. His children and grandchildren were his proudest accomplishment in life.
