Louise Esther Mott went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2019 at the age of 102. She was born on September 14,1916 in Giddings Texas to John August Kurio and Ida Teresa Weise Kurio. She married William "Bill" Mott and had two children Patricia and Jerrold. She spent a majority of her life in the Baytown,Texas area.
Louise started out her working life as a governess, caring for the Center family's two young children. An opportunity at Sheffield Steel happened, where she then became a bookkeeper for several years. Louise was also a skilled seamstress who did alterations and tailoring for Bealls and for numerous family and friends. She was an active and supportive member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Baytown,Texas. Louise was known for her kind and generous nature along with her sweet smile. Her deep belief in Jesus served as a foundation by which she lead her daily life.
She is survived by her two children, Patricia Johnston and husband Gary of Houston, Jerrold Mott of Houston, and nephew Kenneth Bocox and wife Tosh of Benecia, California, as well as numerous other family and friends.
