Mei Hwa Gouw (Hilda's Mother)

Mei Hwa Gouw, 66, passed away at the Morrison's residence in Katy, Texas on Wednesday, April 15, 2015.

Born in October 22, 1948, in Jarkata, Indonesia, she lived in Jakarta most of her time until she became a permanent resident in 2009. She attended the Houston International SDA church regularly.

Tante Wawa, as we called her, enjoyed walking, gardening, cooking, adn spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Susanti (Indonesia), and her ten brothers and sisters (3 sisters in Houston), three sons in Jakarta, one daughter, Hilda, twelve grandchildren in Indonesia, and two more grandchildren in Houston, Sean and Sarah.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Asmwi Gonawan, and her father, Sunardi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 9:30 am to 10:00 am at the Houston International Seventh-day Adventist Church, with the funeral service beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at the Carmen Nelson Bostick Historic Cemetery in Tomball, Texas.
