Nancy Kathleen Sedloff, of Houston, Texas, passed away at the age of 72 after a courageous battle against cancer on October 8, 2021 in Houston. She was born on September 21, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas to George K. Norton and Lucille S. Norton.
Nancy was born into a military family and lived many places growing up. She graduated High School in Georgia and moved to Upstate New York for college. Nancy lived in Florida for a brief time before settling in the Houston area. Her dream of having children came true in 1982 with the birth of Laura followed by Julie in 1986. Nancy then found the love of her life; Robert when he joined their family. Robert and Nancy were strongly committed and inseparable. They spent a majority of their relationship working together as well. As much as she loved being a mom, being a grandma brought her unmeasurable joy. All that knew Nancy knew she had the most giving heart and would do anything for anyone. She was also a strong leader which helped her excel in her personal and professional life. On October 8th, Nancy was fully healed and restored when she joined her Lord and Savior. She will be missed by so many that knew and loved her; but the legacy she leaves behind will live on.
Nancy is survived by: Robert Sedloff, husband of 35 years. Children: Laura Warren of Cypress, TX and husband Russell, Julie Girtman of Spring, TX and husband Brock. Grandchildren: Alexander Warren, Riley Girtman, Andrew Girtman, Olivia Warren, Owen Warren and Anthony Girtman. Sister: Ruth Rogers. Step-Brother: Wayne Eames. Step mother: Virgie Norton.
