Nancy Sue Atabala, 78, passed away on May 10, 2023 in Houston, Texas. She was born on January 16, 1945 in Dublin, Texas to Cliff B. Wilhite & Margaret Marie Bastean Wilhite.
She is survived by her loving children, William A. Atabala & wife Vida Atabala, Louis David Atabala, Michael Joseph Atabala & wife Cristina Craigmile, Daniel Samad Atabala & wife Brittany, and Elissa Gabrielle Catherall & husband William; her grandchildren, Reza Atabala, Ethan Atabala, Luke Harris, Michael Atabala Jr., Benjamin Atabala, Olivia Atabala, Carly Cutshall & Natalie Cutshall, and one on the way; her siblings, Margaret Edwards & husband Marshall, Charles Wilhite & wife Judy, Christopher Lee Wilhite & wife Tracy, Anthony Wilhite, Nick Wilhite & wife Tracy, Theresa Wilhite, Elizabeth Brigante, and Ronald Wilhite; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ahad Atabala, her brother, Cliff Wilhite, sister-in-law, Nancy Tuck Wilhite, and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 4 to 8 PM in the Chapel of Forest Park South Funeral Home (12650 Shadow Creek Pkwy, Pearland, TX 77584). Mass will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church (625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston, TX 77079) at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Burial will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery (12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077).

Nancy is being remembered by her IWA classmates as we celebrate our 60th class reunion year. Condolence to her large family and all the friends who were touched by Nancy's life. May she enjoy the peace and comfort of God's Love, and kindly put in a good word for each of us.
I’m so sorry to hear about Nancy’s M6passing I was a classmate of hers at IWA and she was a unique person and I enjoyed the time that we had together as classmates my condolences go to her family and friends that she has left behind, My prayers are with you and that she is resting in the arms of our Lord forever peaceful and with the family that passed before her may God forever be with you in your grief,
