Houston, TX: – Nicholas G. Snyder, 95, died Sunday, May 31, 2015 of natural causes in his home surrounded by his family.
The love of his life, Mary Halkias Snyder, grieves for the loss of her soul-mate after 63 years of marriage. Nick also leaves his 2 sons, George Nicholas Snyder and his wife Patricia Snyder; Theodore Nicholas Snyder and his wife Martha Lilliana-Vega; and his daughter, Zoë Marie Snyder as well as grand-children Nicholas Snyder, John Snyder, and Adrienne Snyder. Preceding him in death were his sisters Helen Mavrophilippas and Lena Nilsen. Their daughters Christina Mavrophilippas and Diana Aylward also grieve the loss of their uncle who was their confidant and loving support. Beloved by his family, his wisdom and counsel were such an integral part of the extended family that his loss cannot be replaced.
