Oscar Amadeo Sansoni

Oscar Amadeo Sansoni; 86 years old was born in Callao, Peru on November 5, 1935 and passed away in Houston, Texas on August 30, 2022. His daughter Niemka took care of him till the end and was there at the hospital with his youngest son Seryev. His oldest son Oscar took care of him after the Christmas of 2020.

Oscar Sr. was a man of great conviction and expertise. He knew over 6 languages, worked as an Electrical Engineer and presided over the Alaskan Pipeline as the Chief Electrical Inspector. As a child he was influenced by his dad’s love of high voltage equipment. He built a flying saucer when he was a young boy, which eventually caught the attention of the US, UK and Canadian governments. He sung opera as a young man and was an artist and painter, his murals still reside in some Peruvian churches, and one of his paintings was published in Readers Digest.

He also worked for NASA as a young man, he got there by first working with Conchan, a major petrochemical plant in Peru and Brown & Root which had a contract with NASA. He loved photography, fishing and gardening. He built his own dark room in our house. He even built a camera based on a Russian box camera and a machine that enlarged his originals.

He is survived by his loving children and grandchildren, sons, Oscar G Sansoni & wife Leslie, and Seryev H. Sansoni & wife Ashley; and daughter, Niemka S. Sansoni; grandchildren, Gabriella, Oscar Alante, Bronson, Vanessa, and Nathaniel; his brother, Jerardo A Sansoni and sister Norka G Sansoni.

He is preceded in death by his beautiful Wife Ana Maria Sansoni to whom he was married for over 58 years, his brothers Edgardo F. Sansoni, Jose R Sansoni and sister Romelia N Sansoni, his second son, Franco B. Sansoni, and his loving parents.

Services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Parrish in The Woodlands, Texas with the Rosary beginning at 9:30am and the Mass starting at 10:00am.  A Graveside Service will follow at 12:30pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
