In Memory of
Patricia Helen Bauer Hoxworth
-

Patricia was survived by her husband and love of her life for 55 years, Richard C. Hoxworth; her sons David and Stephen; her daughter-in–law Cathy Hoxworth; nephew Tim Liebig; nieces Carole Liebig and Suzie Bauer; grandsons Christopher Hoxworth, Matthew Hoxworth, Christopher Freeland Jr., Stephen Hoxworth Jr., and Aaron Freeland; grandson-in-law Ben Turk; granddaughters Brooke Turk and Taylor Freeland; her great-grandchildren, Maximus Braeden Hoxworth, Ayden Freeland, Kourtney Turk and Zackary Turk; and friends too numerous to count or list.

She was pre-deceased by her parents and her brothers Ian Bauer and Vincent Bauer.

Pat began a phone affair in the 1950’s with a dashing airline ticket agent that she married four weeks after their first meeting. They were married on June 29th of 1956 and traveled the world together for the greater part of their lives throughout the Holy Lands, the Middle East, Europe, and most of the Western Hemisphere. She was a joy and inspiration to all who knew her and were around her despite having battled Strokes, Cancer, Diabetes, and Heart disease and living in constant pain for years, you could always count on an optimistic point of view and an uproariously funny comment. She fought her illnesses with grace, aplomb, and most importantly humor and her infectious laugh brought tears of laughter to everyone around her.

Pat will be missed terribly by all who know her but Heaven gains greatly by her arrival.

Steve, Your mother sounds like she was an amazing woman who loved life, and family above all else. Please accept my condolences. Steve, I firmly believe that we never really lose the people we love. They live on in us in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. May you find comfort in knowing that your lives have been enriched by having shared her love.

She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met, full of life and laughter! She was the Grandmother I never had and will miss her dearly. She was determined to teach me how to cook and that was a task all by itself! She will be missed dearly.
