She is survived by her daughter, Lillian Goodrum; her brothers, Buford Adams & Mack Adams; her sister: Mary Ethel Adkinson; Grandchildren: Terry Jones, Jana Broussard, and David Bates; Great-Grandchildren: Travis Aldridge, Kaydee Aldridge, Landon Dickerson, Dillion Bates, and Alex Bates.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Louis H. Bates, daughter Doris Bates, and son Louis D. Bates.
A Graveside Service will be held at Weldon Cemetery in Weldon, Texas on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 1:00 pm
