Archie Wayne Johnson was born on October 25, 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Archie Rudolph and Hazel Maxine Johnson. He graduated from Sam Houston High School with the Class of 1964. For the past 26 years he resided at Liberty Personal Care Home on Boone Road in Houston, Texas. Wayne, as he was known by family and friends passed away on October 25, 2012, his 66th birthday.
Wayne is survived by his dear mother, Maxine Johnson, brothers James David Johnson and wife Margo and Kenneth Mark Johnson and wife Debbie, and sisters Linda Gail Donalson and husband Charles and Rhonda Faith Villa and husband Tim. He also will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Wayne will be held on Monday, October 29th at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral at 11:00 am, all in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service, 13501 Alief Clodine Road, Houston, Texas, 77082. Wayne will be laid to rest in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville, Texas at 1:00 pm that afternoon.
