Jerryann (Kelley) Barrackman, 93, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026. She was born January 25, 1933 in Kansas City, Kansas to Wylma Dee (June) Ford and Granville Douglas Kelley.
Jerryann graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City, OK and later attended Draughton’s Business College. On September 16, 1955, she married Charles S. Fox. They had two children, Lawrence (Larry) and Glenn Fox.
Jerryann had a successful career in Sales/Marketing in the hotel and travel industry. She worked for many years as a cruise sales professional for Royal Viking and Orient cruise lines even achieving salesperson of the year for Orient Lines. She also served as the Executive Director of the North Houston Chamber of Commerce. In 2001, she met James A. Barrackman while singing
Jerryann was known for her independence and warm, outgoing nature. She had a lifelong love of music and singing, enjoyed birds and collecting stuffed teddy bears.
She is survived by her son, Larry S. Fox; her stepdaughter, Susan J. Riegler and husband Steve; and her stepson, Jim Barrackman, Jr. and wife Karin. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Kathryn Rogers; Tyler Chavarria and wife Ariana; Luke Parke and wife Angela; Lianne Barrackman and partner Colby Race; Mason Barrackman; Lauren Riegler; and Erick Alvarado; as well as five great-grandchildren: Carsun Moore, Quentin Parke, Copper Parke, Madeleine Race, and Elenore Race.
Jerryann is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 20 years, James A. Barrackman Sr.; her son, Glenn A. Fox and her parents.
A graveside service will be held on February 13, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Frwy, Houston, TX 77079. The service will be officiated by Dr. Wick Stuckey.
The family extends their sincere gratitude to the caregivers at Eagle Crest Rapid Recovery Nursing Home and Altus Hospice for their compassionate care and support.

in the Chancel Choir at Chapelwood United Methodist Church. They were married on April 27, 2002. Following their marriage, they enjoyed a month-long European cruise for their honeymoon. Throughout their retirement, Jerryann and James shared a love of travel, cared lovingly for their dogs, and took great pride in their outdoor garden.
