My friend from high school. Many fun years. I'm glad to have had breakfast with you before you left for Texas. It meant a great deal to me. Jim

August L. Geraci Jr. entered into Eternal Life on Friday, January 20, 2017 at the age of 74 years, with his wife, Nancy, of 50 years at his bedside. He was the proud father of Jeffery (Denise) Geraci of Katy, TX and John (Angela) Geraci of Charleston, SC, dear son of the late August L. Geraci and Mary (Terrazzino) Geraci of Chicago Illinois; fond brother of the late Frank (Mary Beth) Geraci and James (Andrea) Geraci; and grandfather to five grandchildren: Jacob, Maya, Layla, Dean and Dru. He will be furtherremembered and missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be on February 10, 2017 at Beresford Funeral Home, 13501 Alief-Clodine Rd. Houston, TX 77082 from 10:30-11 AM with a memorial service starting at 11:00 AM.
Augie was very proud of his Italian heritage and being raised on the Southside of Chicago. He had a strong Catholic upbringing, and spent his youth in the shadows of Comisky Park, attending De LaSalle High School and Roosevelt University in Chicago. Augie loved to play golf, and socialize with friends and family. Augie and Nancy spent the majority of their professional years raising their family in Naperville, Illinois. Augie worked for several Chicago-based companies in the financial area, finishing his career with Zurich Scudder Investments (formerly Kemper Financial). Prior to moving to Houston just four short months ago, they enjoyed spending their retirement in Naples, Florida. They moved to Houston so they could spend more time with their children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Association at ALZ.org .
