In Memory of
Calvin Allen Hill
-

Calvin Allen Hill was the child of Thelma Marie Hill, born on March 3, 1962 in Chicago Illinois. He grew up on the South Side. There he received his early education and attended M.L. King High School. He received Christ early in life. As he was baptized at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church. Calvin was taught and trained to cook by his Uncle David White. He worked at Walker Brother’s and the Big Apple Pancakes houses, Country Clubs, and ending up at Dons Fish Market in 2000. Calvin’s life like so many others was not perfect. He fought his demons and came out the other side clean. Calvin was always accident prone as a teen, through adulthood. His last was a right thigh fracture 2 years ago. In 2003 after a right lower leg fracture, Calvin moved to McComb Ms. In 2007 he relocated to Houston (Katy) TX. There he was employed by Academy Sports and Outdoors. He also joined Second Baptist Church. As a faithful member Calvin participated in Sunday school, bible study and prayer groups.

Calvin never married and has no children. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Thelma Marie White Hill Davis (2010), and brother Fronzell Hill Jr (2020). He leaves to celebrate his memory, sister Regina Gail Hill Lang and brother in law Willie, and brother Brad Lee Hill I and sister in law Maria. He leaves nieces Nicole and Sasha, nephews Lavora, Allen, Lorenzo, and Brad II. Calvin comes from a large extended family. There are Aunts and Uncles cousins, church and work family members left to celebrate his life.

Each year the Hill's family grows dearer to my heart. I share with them the loss of this humble, jovial and loving brother. Although Calvin will be greatly missed, we have assurance in God's continued comfort.
