I only met Elliott at our reunions so I didn't know him well. However, Charles knew him at A&M and had such good things to say about him. I know he fought a hard battle against his cancer but your never ready to say goodbye. My prayers are with you and your family. Love, Lou

How lucky youall were to have Dr.Craig. I knew him only as the owner of a patient of his. He was our last hope. We were referred to him from Sunset Animal Hospital and while an operation was not an option,he gave us the tools to make it possible for our dog to live a reasonably normal life. That was nine years ago and she is still going. I have thought of him often thru the years and wanted to share this with you. Only last week Dr Young and I were talking about what a great vet he was and how grateful I was that he sent me there. I am sorry for your loss.

Carolyn, our condolences and prayers are with you, your family and friends. “El” had a comfortable smile and kind word for everyone he met. It was always a pleasure to tee it up for a round of golf with him. He was a perpetual student of the game. He will be remembered and missed.

We have many fond thoughts for Dr. Craig. He operated on one of our cats twice - each time he tore ACL. We still laugh about him saying this usually did not happen to cats - unless they were too heavy (which Merlin was).
He was a very kind and caring person.
We are very sorry to hear of his death, the world has lost a most special person.

We have never forgotten Dr. Craig since he performed two TPO's on our 13-month Golden Retreiver. At the time, she was unable to walk. Today she is nine-years old, and since surgery, she has been continuously jumping and running after squirrels. Many times through the years we we often talked about him reminding us by saying, "Your pup will lead a good long life". He was right! We will never forget him and are eternally grateful for his healing hands and compassion. Our sincere condolences to your family for your loss. He left an everlasting memory in our hearts.

What fond memories I have of Elliott from French High and and as a neighbor. He had the best basketball "spot" in the neighborhood and was always ready for a game and to share the court. May God richly bless your family as you remember the special times you had with him.

I remember Elliott Well as a fellow classmate in 1957. He was always very soft spoken but was an excellent student. He was a leader on the basketball team as well as in our class. I am very privileged to have knows him.
My prayers are with all of the family. You will all be together someday in a far better place.
Rest in Peace, Elliott!!

Dr. Craig operated on our Weimaraner, Rex, back in 2006 and I have often thought of Dr. Craig over the years. I knew he had retired but was hopeful he was consulting but then saw that he passed away. Like others, I was very moved by his kindness. I can still hear him tell me that my pup needed to lose weight or the same thing would happen to the other knee. We got the weight off Rex and he passed away in 2012 at 14.5 years without ever having to do surgery on the other knee and with the operated knee operating perfectly till the day he died. I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a superior surgeon and a really kind man.
