
Jennie Joann Ferreira, 4/29/1956-9/13/2023, was a beloved sister to four, mother to three, grandmother to three, aunt to seven, and friend to everyone she met. Born & raised in Houston, Texas, she was the first in her family to graduate high school, receiving her diploma from MacArthur Senior High School. Jennie is survived by her eldest sister Gee Lopez, younger siblings Roy Salazar and Mary Helen Salazar-Garza, Her children Lisa Marie Ferreira, Carmen Jeannette Evans, and Fernando Rafael Ferreira, her grandchildren Analise Aisa-Laie Evans, Aryana Lenore Becker, Amaris Lorraine Ferreira and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 in the Chapel of Beresford Funeral Service. Visitation will start at 11:00 a.m. and the funeral will start at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Brookside Memorial Park (13401 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039) at 2:00 p.m.

playing card & board games with her friends & family. She also enjoyed playing pool. She spent most of her career as a secretary with the Texas Workforce Commission Appeals Department. She was a loyal employee of the state for over 30 years and received a recognition award for her service.
