Kennard Morgan Rydolph

Kennard Morgan Rydolph passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 in Houston following a brief illness.

Ken was born in Refugio, TX to Agnes Richardson and Simmie Rydolph. After graduating from Refugio High School in 1955 he attended Del Mar Jr. College on a track scholarship.

After finishing two years at Del Mar College he moved to Denver, Colorado where he worked at the National Jewish Hospital. Following that he moved to Los Angles where he joined the Marine Corp which he proudly served for ten years. Two of those years he spent in Viet Nam.

He got out of the Marines and went to work for Reynalds Metal Co., Dupont and retired from Corpus Christi Army Depot.

He was a member of the American legion Post #364 for 34 years.

Kennard was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife Esther, one son, Kennard M Rydolph II (Phyllis) two daughters, Karen Pennywell (Casino), Lisa Campbell (Steven) and four grandchildren Kennard Rydolph III, Joshua Rydolph, Sarah Campbell, and Matthew Campbell. One brother, Howard Rydolph, one sister, Selma Mathis and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
